Are you an avid collector
or a serious investor in Aboriginal Art? The first rule when collecting
Aboriginal art is to spend time where it’s created.
Collect Aboriginal Art is offering specialised art buying and
investing trips to some of the most remote locations Australia
has to offer. If you wish to visit the source of Aboriginal art we can
arrange flights, permits, accommodation and meals, along with
viewings at community art centres. All of the centres visited are
located in isolated Aboriginal communities generally difficult to
access by road with entry by permit only. You will be visiting and
buying direct from community art centres that nurture and develop
local talent.
Each art centre is different and the art reflects the cultural
background of the area. You will have access to some stunning and
visually exciting artwork before it becomes available on the general
market. The art includes large and small paintings on bark and
canvas, limited edition prints, exciting textiles, woven sculptures
and fascinating carvings. All travel, accommodation and gallery
visits are arranged and pre-booked. Art purchases will be packed,
insured and shipped by the individual art centres.
Tours can be arranged to art centres in Arnhem
Land, the Kimberley, Tiwi Islands
or Central and Western
Desert regions
and private itineraries can be arranged on request.
For collectors and investors genuinely interested in Aboriginal art
and the artists who brought it to the world’s attention, these
journeys promise a rich cultural and collecting experience.
